Rob Schneider and his wife, Patricia Azarcoya Schneider, are ending their marriage after more than a decade together.
Court records show that Patricia, 37, filed for divorce from the actor and comedian, 62, on Dec. 8 in Maricopa County, Arizona. The filing was made quietly, with news of the split surfacing weeks later. The couple had been married since April 2011.
During their 14 year marriage, Rob and Patricia welcomed two daughters. Their eldest, Miranda Scarlett, is now 13, while their younger daughter, Madeline Robbie, is 9. Over the years, Schneider frequently shared affectionate posts about his family on social media, including a public tribute to Patricia on their anniversary in 2023.
In that post, he praised his wife for their life together and thanked her for their children. He wrote that she made their life beautiful and expressed gratitude for her support, her belief in him, and the family they built together. He also mentioned looking forward to a future filled with laughter, love, and raising their daughters.
The divorce filing comes amid renewed public attention on Schneider’s personal life, particularly his complicated relationship with his eldest child, singer Elle King. Schneider shares King, 36, with his former wife, London King. He was also previously married to Helena Schneider.
Schneider and King’s strained father daughter relationship became widely discussed in 2024 after King spoke candidly about her upbringing. In interviews, the singer said her father was largely absent during her childhood and claimed he forgot her birthdays on multiple occasions. She also said he sent her to what she described as “fat camp.”
King, who was raised primarily by her mother and stepfather, explained that there were long stretches when she and Schneider did not speak at all. She said they sometimes went four or five years without contact. According to King, when she began gaining recognition in the music industry, her father reached out and told her not to discuss him publicly.

She said she was simply sharing her childhood and her truth, not attempting to start a public conflict. Despite the attention, King maintained that her goal was honesty rather than harm.
